Block 666 alpha
A block 666 sat that starts a bitcoin: 3,330,000,000,000 + k × 100,000,000 for k from 0 to 49, fifty sats in all.
How a sat qualifies
The row's definition is Block 666 and alpha. An alpha is a sat whose number is a multiple of 100,000,000, the first sat of a whole bitcoin. Block 666 holds sats 3,330,000,000,000 to 3,334,999,999,999, 50 BTC, so it has exactly 50 alphas: 3,330,000,000,000, 3,330,100,000,000 and so on up to 3,334,900,000,000.
The first, 3,330,000,000,000, is also block 666's first sat, an uncommon. Block 666 is in the vintage range, so every Block 666 alpha is also a vintage alpha.
Why collectors care
Block 666 is not tracked whole: its alphas, omegas and palindromes are the sats of it the index follows one by one. Fifty alphas exist, and that will never change.
How many
- Will ever exist: 50, all mined.
- Extracted, each held alone in a small output: 8.
- Addresses holding one: 41.
