2D palindrome 2009
A sat mined in 2009 (blocks 0 to 32,489) whose number is a palindrome of exactly two distinct digits, such as 10,000,000,001: shown on the site as 2D palindrome with ?year=2009.
How a sat qualifies
A 2D palindrome 2009 is a 2D palindrome with a height scope: blocks 0 to 32,489, the blocks mined in 2009. That is sats 0 to 162,449,999,999,999.
A 2D palindrome is a sat whose decimal digits read the same in both directions and use exactly two distinct digits. Examples from 2009: 10,000,000,001 (block 2), 100,000,000,001 (block 20) and 3,330,000,000,333 (block 666, also a Block 666 palindrome). A palindrome of a single digit, such as 11,111,111,111, is a 1D palindrome instead.
Why collectors care
They are the 2D palindromes of Bitcoin's first year, a closed set: 20,359 of the 30,934 2D palindromes that will ever exist were mined in 2009.
On this site
2D palindrome 2009 used to be a collection of its own. It is now 2D palindromes in 2009: the 2D palindrome collection narrowed to the year, with the same supply, holders, sales and listings. Old links to the 2D palindrome 2009 collection redirect there. The year filter works the same way on any other collection: see 2009 sats.
How many
20,359 will ever exist, all mined. 2D palindromes in 2009 shows how many are extracted and who holds them.
